Board Certified Urologic Oncologist
Daniel C. Parker, MD FACS, is a urologic oncologist in central Oklahoma, based at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He also serves patients in the southwest part of Oklahoma at Comanche County Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Parker was the first graduate from Stephenson Cancer Center’s Urologic Oncology Fellowship Program to be accredited by the Society of Urologic Oncology. His areas of expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of kidney, bladder, and prostate malignancies with particular emphasis towards state-of-the-art prostate cancer detection procedures. He devotes special focus on minimally invasive kidney-sparing surgery and the treatment of advanced prostate cancer. Dr. Parker also offers robotic surgical options for patients with bladder cancer as well as benign conditions such as BPH and ureteral stricture disease. Vasectomy, kidney stone, and comprehensive men’s health evaluations are additional services available with Dr. Parker.
Dr. Parker is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association. Prior to his fellowship training, Dr. Parker completed a urology and general surgery residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and served as Chief Resident in Urologic Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center, part of the Temple Health System in Philadelphia.
Dr. Parker was an Associate Professor of Urology at the University of Oklahoma before joining Urology Specialists of Central Oklahoma. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters in the urologic oncology literature. He has been a member of the Urology Care Foundation’s Prostate Health Committee since 2022. He maintains active membership in the South Central Section of the American Urological Association and the Oklahoma State Urologic Association.
Dr. Parker was initiated as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 2024.
He lives in Oklahoma City with his wife, Dr. Lacy Parker, and two children.
